In the rapidly multiplying ocean of brand collabs, many of these manmade waves make perfect sense, tapping into a cross-section of consumers chomping at the bit for a limited-edition product - Oddli x Role Model, or Gap x Madhappy. And even still, despite the sheer number of brand collabs, I continue to find myself surprised, delighted, and even positively disgusted1. This week’s thing falls under the deliciously vile collab category. As the self-appointed Mocktail Queen of New York2, Liquid Death is an old reliable on a night out. And now, in cahoots with Van Leeuwen, I can chug back a Hot Fudge Sundae Sparkling. It’s as if I’m enjoying a Mr. Frosty while simultaneously enjoying, well, a can of water. How nasty is that? Can’t wait to try it (in a cone, with rainbow sprinkles).
